Hidden Internet Video Changed My Perception of America Forever

Not Clickbait.

After being randomly laid off almost 3 weeks ago now, I am fully embracing my new role as a content creator/entrepreneur.

Back when I had my realizations, I knew what I had to begin doing.

Creating content and sharing my story through that content.

I’ve dove headfirst into these creative waters, fully submersed.

I never thought in a million years that I would give myself the title content creator, but here we are. And loving every minute.

I have never been the “creative” type if you will.

That was up until about 4 months ago when my childhood best friend called me:

“Matt, you’ve got to check out this video. It might blow your mind.”

This friend tends towards being mellow dramatic already, so I was led to believe said the video would be interesting, perhaps slightly entertaining at best.

I was wrong.

The Video Changed My Life.

The video is called Out of The Shadows on YouTube. But if you go to Youtube and search for it, it’s unlikely to appear. Go to google and search it under videos. It should still be a Youtube video. Although the video had 20 million views when I last watched, It still seems like no one is talking about it.

And how could they?

It’s been lost in the mega sea of digital information and videos that get added to it every day.

Great, Matt. What does this have to do with your life and getting fired? Well, first, you need to watch the video.

Regardless of what I say in this article, consuming the content in that video is of the best value for you to understand why I personally made this switch, from consumer to creator.

The documentary-style video is filmed and produced by two career Hollywood stuntmen. They began as stuntmen and organically worked their way up into producing, directing, etc.

These two guys that you’ve never seen or heard of know the in’s and out’s of Hollywood.

I don’t believe they have reasons to lie about what they were saying, and I could see and feel their personal conviction in the message.

Among other dark and revealing details of America, the production was made essentially to blow the whistle on how the CIA directly impacts Holly wood film productions today, dating all the way back to the 1950s.

The film has a few topics that seem unrelated until you begin fitting pieces of the puzzle together yourself.

What you learn or gain from the video will be different for everyone. My friend Taylor was most shocked by the revealings of Jeffrey Epstein.

I was more interested in America's brainwashing through politics, fake news, media, movies — anything.

Maybe you’ve heard of these theories before.

I’d consider you ignorant if you don’t think any of the content has merit to it, but that’s just me.

The origins of the term conspiracy theory are actually revealed in this film.

So before you go and misuse the phrase once again, dismissing possibilities that may expand your consciousness and understanding of the world, you should watch for that very reason. You’re welcome.

People love to call things conspiracy theories because that automatically gives them the position that says,

Ha. You got fooled by all that, didn’t you?

You fell for the trick.

But me? Nah. I’m better, smarter, and see things more clearly.

bless his heart, for believing such foolish things.

they might say. When really, they’re the ones wearing a blindfold over their head. Or these days, probably a surgical mask.

Accepting truths can be so difficult for their psyche to accept that they don't.

Accepting such truths would be such a disruption in their way of being that they decide instead to stay ignorant of the evidence.

The consideration of possibilities beyond what they currently know or understand is ultimately lost.

I am not saying believe everything you see. I am saying gather your own facts before calling something a conspiracy theory; you’ll truly look like an idiot.

My perception of America changed after viewing the content in the video.

And yours will too. Or maybe it won’t.

But after viewing and the days, weeks, and months that followed — I’ve begun seeing and viewing things differently, for the better.

Specifically, the media and content we consume into our little brains.

That’s when it *clicked* for me.

I don’t want to consume. I want to create.

From that moment forward, my life has changed. My perception of living was altered, and I felt a rush of motivation to be somehow part of this new media consumption wave and awareness. To spread love light and positivity instead of the violence, vulgar language, sex, drugs, and overall declining morals of American society that Hollywood clearly identifies with.

After viewing the video — I was still working my night job.

Still working and slaving away, with distant plans and conscious dreams, to quit one day.

One day when I was ready.

Then it happened. I walked in and was terminated on the spot after 3 years.

I had believed my manager and I had a solid personal relationship.

But she let my ass go as if we had just met days prior. Remarkable.

I was completely and randomly fired two months after discovering this video.

Irony? Just by chance? Nah brother. I don’t think so. This young Father has observed life long enough to know when something “bad” happens; it is actually a beautiful, nicely wrapped present in disguise.

Especially getting fired from somewhere, you didn’t enjoy going anyways?

Viewing this video got me motivated to think about my future as an entrepreneur and the kind of content I produce.

Losing my job solidified what I knew I had to do.

It wasn’t consuming any longer; it was creating.

Closing thoughts

If you’re still here with me, thank you. I am telling you these things for a reason.

While I am just another writer on Medium, I can promise I am not just any other writer.

I have been led, right here — to be with you. I know this to be a fact.

And I am looking forward to revealing more details of my journey, particularly a story that happened only 3 or 4 days after losing my job that has changed my life forever.

My goal is to motivate and inspire people everywhere to reach their full potential through my voice, words, story, and video content.

I want you to break free from self-limiting beliefs, enabling you to live a life full of abundance and joy.

I want to help you break out of mental strongholds that are standing in your way.

Let me tell you something else.

I initially began writing for myself. Writing in any capacity will always benefit the writer in varying ways.

As I wrote, I realized there are people out there who can benefit from my story and journey.

As an entrepreneur, you need a product or service. Maybe a tool to help people do things.

What happens when you wake up one day and realize that you are the tool that does the fixing?

When you consistently knocked down, but continue to stand back up unfazed — quite literally surprising yourself with your resilience and strength.

That happens so many times; you begin thinking, “hm. Guess I can bounce back better than others—no big deal.

And you move on — no need to bring attention to yourself.

Except, when you know you have strengths and abilities to help other people, in my world, it would be sinful to keep it to yourself.

I want to motivate and inspire people.

I want to be the best in the world at it.

Thank you for allowing me to clarify my vision and message to you. I am not a self-proclaimed expert.

I won’t pretend to have all the answers about life.

But I do have good reason to believe I can inspire change in your life.

If you’d like a simple place to start improve yourself immediately, I recommend checking out this article I wrote.

Self-made millionaire James Altucher inspired the article and provoked me to outline a simple framework for you.

If you want to make the world better, master the 4 pillars of self.

Thanks for reading, and I will see you soon.
